Wow. The Dalai Lama will be at Sundance. Kind of. Read on.
SwaggMedia has partnered with The Music 4 Peace Tour (www.music4peacetour.com) and the Associated Press to host a gifting and networking lounge that will be streamed live on SwaggMedia.com.
The partners have formed a coalition named Music 4 Peace Tour that is an initiative comprised of four non-profits that will benefit from the awareness raised by the event and live stream. The collaborating charities include the Hip Hop Summit/Action network, Tribes of the Worlds, Music4Peace Foundation and The Gandhi Tour. These non profits have banded together to promote a global message of peace and harmony through the universal language of music … In light of the recent tragedy in Haiti, PSAs and video messages will be recorded and live streamed to raise funds and awareness for the victims of the earthquake.
The Music 4 Peace initiative will be holding their campaign launch press conference at 10 a.m. on Jan. 26 at the lounge, which will feature Dr. Arun Gandhi, Def Jam founder Russell Simmons, Dr. Benjamin Chavis, Jr., legendary civil rights leader, Artie Kornfeld, founder of Woodstock, Baroness Kimberly Moore; and a video message from The Dalai Lama. Watch it online.
The event will be held at The Miners Club building at 592 Main Street in Park City.
